ok I guess I should put these out there because i am tired of people calling me names because don't follow conventions when it comes to religion and morality and faith (and also i need something to post here

• i probably would say "catholic" if you asked me what my religion is. that's what i also write on personal id forms. i do that because of the stigma people would give if they knew. especially in this country. so yeah. i am catholic, on paper.
• i don't believe in "everything happens for a reason." no. life is made up of choices and consequences and happenstance.
• i don't know if i believe in an intelligent designer
• i believe in free will
• i sort of, kind of, think mainstream Christianity is painting god as an abuser
• i believe in treating everyone fairly and justly and making people happy and being our best selves and in spreading love and in not hurting anyone
