"Friends" on Facebook

I tried to click CMD+SHIFT+4 on my keyboard and then I remembered I'm not using a Mac machine. Tears.

Last Tuesday, my laptop went missing and we can't find an explanation as to why that happened. I was just using it around 3 in the morning that day, left it when I went to school, then when I got back home it was gone. There were people in the house the whole day. We even had several visitors. No one of them claims to know they have seen my computer.

I am trying to minimize my Facebook presence because a lot of Facebook people annoy me and I just don't want to deal with the phoniness of that website. I told myself I would only post a status if I really needed to, so in a fit of frustration and sadness and everything I said this:

Some people were nice and they gave me messages that were comforting. This "friend," however, commented on that status and it made me want to kill her. Not even kidding.

I mean, seriously. I HAD BEEN GOING CRAZY LOOKING FOR MY LAPTOP SINCE THAT PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY IS LIKE MY LIFELINE AND LOOK WHAT THIS PERSON IS SAYING. I was, and still am, furious. I sent her a message telling her how disappointed I am but then her reply just made me even more angry.

her message, translated: that's okay since you're a rich kid [and can afford to buy one back]. as with thesis, never mind.

SERIOUSLY. SERIOUSLY. SERIOUSLY.
