One of my cousins and her kids have been staying with us since Undas ended. Why they're here is a long story I do not want to divulge in a public blog like this, but yeah. They're here. I don't know how long but I have a feeling it's going to be long. Whatever, I don't mind. My cousin has two children, a boy and a girl.
The girl is 14 months old and if I wasn't such a privacy freak I'd post her picture here. She is so cute! And fat. And chubby. And so bibo! She's also nice to everyone and she's not one of those babies who scream and cry all the time.
My parents and all of my siblings like her. Babysitting her is my new favorite pastime. :D Every day after work I take her from her mother and carry her and teach her how to walk and talk and how to smile and say hi and all sorts of fun things. My mom is amused because I spend so much time with the baby. She does, too. Spend a lot of time with her, I mean. We all do. My mom even bathes her and feeds her and tucks her to bed at night --because my cousin is busy with her other child.
So anyway, what I'm trying to say is that we enjoy my cousin's baby so much and I guess she is the baby we've all been waiting for (because my brothers and my sister and I sort of had this fantasy where someone would leave their baby outside our house, like the kid from Meet the Robinsons & a lot of Filipino telenovelas/romance books). I think my mom misses having a little kid since my youngest sibling is now 10. Also in all of this I think Mom is slightly thankful that she is taking care of my cousin's baby and not mine or my brother's or my sister's. *crossing my fingers it stays that way for now*
